Ms. Jessica Murph
Ms. Murph received her Bachelors of Fine Art in Communication Design (Graphic Design) from Texas Tech University in 2008; received her teaching certification in 2012 from the Region 17 Alternative Certification Program. This year will be her sixth year of teaching Art at Coronado, and will be her third year as faculty advisor for the only chapter of National Art Honor Society in LISD.
With influence from her grandfather and aunt; the fine arts has been a prominent part of her life. In her spare time she is in her home studio working on new paintings and various other art projects; with many of her works including commissioned portraits, illustrations, print /apparel graphics, and logos. Ms. Murph has also had drawings and paintings displayed at the Texas Tech School of Art's Landmark Gallery, Buddy Holly Center's Fine Arts Gallery, The Contemporary Austin, and a sketchbook at the Brooklyn Art Library.
When she isn't in her studio she can be found at the First Friday Art Trail, at the movies, listening to live music, enjoying a meal with friends or family, or curled up with a good book and her cat Killian.
