• DEMONSTRATION CONCERT

    On Monday, September 20, the Beginner and Varsity Orchestras will present the annual Demonstration Concert.  The concert begins at 5:30 PM in the Evans MS auditorium.  Beginners will stay after school for a pre-concert rehearsal.  Varsity Orchestra members need to report to the auditorium by 5:15 pm.  Dress is our new Orchestra t-shirts (if they come in on time!  Fingers crossed!).  This is a ticketed event.  Scan the QR code to reserve your FREE tickets.

This is my 27th year being the orchestra director at Evans MS, and I consider it my second home.  We are a musical family with my husband, my son and I all playing the cello! Our very spoiled dachshunds and entitled cat round out our family.  Learning to play an instrument teaches musicianship, responsibility and self discipline all while instilling a keen sense of pride and accomplishment.  I strive to make the Orchestra classes at Evans MS fun, safe learning enviroments that encourage students to grow musically and socially.
