My name is Mrs. Kennon! I was born in Lubbock but grew up in Dallas and Cleburne. My family and I have lived in Lubbock since 2007. I graduated from Texas Tech University with my Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies. I earned my Master's degree from Grand Canyon University with Elementary Education in Reading. My student teaching was in 2nd grade, however, I've taught 5th grade Science, and 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Resource Math and Reading. I married my best friend, Jeff, and we have three amazing kids! All are about to be graduated with Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Texas Tech, too! I am so excited to be your new School Counselor at Waters Elementary!

I am so excited to be a part of the Waters Elementary family! I look forward to getting to know each of you and hopefully, be able to call you by name soon! I am here and available for any needs you may have. I love kids and want to be able to give them the tools they need to be successful children who grow into amazing adults!
