Hello!  I am so excited to be working with the learning community of Ramirez as we implement the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme!  I am entering my 20th year of education and could not be more blessed to support something I am so passionate about.  Previously I have worked as a literacy coach and also taught almost every grade level in elementary, in self-contained, departmentalized, and dual language classrooms, all over the state of Texas.

My role as the coordinator is to help Ramirez be our best IB selves.  I serve the teachers in their classrooms through professional development and instructional coaching.  I work closely with our fabulous leadership to provide input on decisions that steer our school toward deeper IB implementation and understanding.  Occaisionally I get the special opportunity to teach lesson in a classroom and work with students.  This year I'm expanding my work with parents to support their understandings of the PYP.  I also get the privilege of being a point of contact to our greater learning community and connect Ramirez locally and globally to other IB schools.  It's a role of many hats, and I love every one of them!

I actually started my journey with the IB as a parent!  All of my personal kids have been in IB schools during their education.  I hope you will reach out and allow me the privilege to introduce myself.  Please know that my door is always open if you ever have questions.
