Lubbock ISD Night School Education Program

The Matthews Academy High School night school program is an educational model based on a flexible schoolday setting. In efforts to reduce the number of students currently coded as being atrisk of not graduating from high school, Matthews AHS offers students an opportunity for educational remediation after traditional school hours. On November 1, 2010, Matthews AHS opened its doors to facilitate a program for those students that are at least 17 years old and lack a sufficient number of credits to graduate.

Hours of operation: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm

In order to enroll in MAHS Night School, a student must be:

• At least 17 years’ old
• Enrolled at Matthews
• A resident of Lubbock
• Behind in credits
