Every year our Irons 8th graders and several teachers and staff head out all over the Lubbock community to give back. Our students experience first hand what it means to come together as a school and reach out to others and put their needs before their own. Irons Students head out all over town to help out at different orginizations like the Ronald McDonald House, the Lubbock State Supported Living Center, and the Hope Lodge to name a few. Students perform different tasks at each location including sweeping and mopping floors, cutting shrubs, trimming trees, picking up trass, painting faded patio furniture, cooking brownies for cancer patients, reading books to children, washing vehicles and so much more.
