Wow, this is my 33rd year as an educator!   What an honor to get to impact lives every day.  I taught Pre K, Kinder, 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades.  I was an assistant principal for nine years and this year I am starting my 13th year as a principal.  The saying that says "Time flies when you are having fun." is exactly how I feel about what I get the privilege to do every day.  I get to play and learn with children and adults all day long every day.  I love what I do!  

At Maedgen Elementary, our mission is to build up every child from where they are to where they desire to go.  It is a team effort.  The children need to believe in themselves, the teacher already believes in them, you believe in them, and I believe in them.  Our goal is to empower all students to believe they can accomplish whatever they want to become and do.
