Lubbock ISD is proud to again be partnering with the City of Lubbock Health Department to provide COVID-19 vaccination clinics. Pfizer, Moderna, first, second and booster doses are available. Students, ages 12 years and older, are eligible for the vaccine, as well as any Lubbock ISD employee, and employees of Aramark, ECI, Durham, and Sodexo who work in conjunction with the district. Children, ages 5 years and older, are now eligible for the Pfizer vaccine. Updated information on dates and locations will be posted here when available.
If it is your second or booster dose, bring your vaccination card with proof of the first dose with you to the appointment.
Students must provide a signed consent form from their parents or guardians before the vaccine will be administered. Parents may accompany their student to the appointment.

COVID-19 TESTING INFORMATION
-
As we head into another school year during the COVID-19 pandemic, please be assured we’ve evaluated our protocols for safety, sanitation, contact tracing and exposure, and communication.
We’re maintaining many of our safety and sanitation standards, along with our COVID-19 dashboard and campus notifications. We know the best educational experience for our students is in-person instruction and we are focused on providing face-to-face instruction and working towards serving our students with the most normal school experiences that we can in the safest and healthiest ways possible. As communicated to families in the spring semester, remote instruction will not be an option for students in Lubbock ISD during the 2021-2022 school year.
We will continue to evaluate public health guidance provided by our governing agencies and local health authorities and make adjustments as needed. The safety of our Lubbock ISD family remains a priority as we continue planning and preparation for the upcoming school year to nurture, develop, and inspire every child, every day.

Masks / Face Coverings
- Masks are welcomed, but not required or provided. Executive Order GA-36 signed by Governor Greg Abbott on May 18, 2021, prohibits governmental agencies from mandating face coverings. While opinions vary, personal choice about mask-wearing is always to be respected by staff, students, parents, and visitors.
