Kids' Bank

Brown Elementary is very HAPPY to partner with Happy State Bank through the successful Kids’ Bank Savings Program. The purpose of the savings program is to teach our students the importance of saving by sharing with them the banking experience to start building a strong financial future.

We encourage all students to participate in the savings program by opening a Kids’ Bank Savings Account, for the purpose of saving, by visiting any Happy State Bank location or visiting https://www.happybank.com/KidsBank to submit an account application online. The savings account requires a joint adult account owner, which can be a parent, grandparent, or a family member that can provide a social security number and current driver’s license number.

Since 1997, the savings program has encouraged students to make small deposits in their Kids’ Bank savings account at school; however, deposits and withdrawals can be made at any Happy State Bank location. For each deposit made at school, students receive a prize and is entered in our school’s monthly savings challenge.
