Three Lubbock ISD Students Chosen for State Art Exhibit

Three Lubbock ISD students earned the distinct honor of having their artwork chosen by the Texas Art Education Association (TAEA) for display during the TAEA Youth Art Month Capital Celebration in Austin.

Ariana Egure from Lubbock High School, Brenna Leatherman from Irons Middle School and Walter Reeb from Honey Elementary School are the Lubbock ISD students with featured artwork displayed at the Texas State Capitol out of only 120 chosen from across the state. The students were recognized at a reception at the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum on Sunday, March 10.
