Ramirez Elementary participated in Kid’s Heart Challenge to help the American Heart Association. Students from grades Kindergarten through Fifth learned how to take care of their heart through jumping rope and a healthy lifestyle while also helping others. This year Ramirez raised $2,510.25 to give to the American Heart Association. The previous year they raised $705. The event was capped off by a Celebration Day with the gym covered in Christmas and disco lights. Matthew Tova-Vaca was the top earner with $500.
