Rush ES Students Learn Geometry Through Interactive Activities

First-grade students at Rush Elementary School rotated through a series of interactive learning stations as they learned about geometric shapes. Students were asked to complete tasks like create their own two-dimensional shapes, label attributes and create short videos describing their thought processes using geometric language. Students completed the activities using various platforms such as Geoboard, BrainPOP, and ChatterPix, which allowed them to apply their knowledge through a hands-on learning experience.
