The Evans Middle School Eagles girls team and the Dunbar College Preparatory Academy Panthers boys team won both the 8th Grade “A” Team Lubbock Middle School Basketball Championship last weekend. The Evans girls (14-0) beat the Laura Bush Middle School girls team, 61-53. The Dunbar boys (13-1) handed the Laura Bush Middle School boys team their first loss of the season with a score of 47-42.
