Special Education Students Learn Job Skills at United We Work

Special education students from Lubbock ISD and surrounding area participated in job shadowing and activities for job skill development as part of the annual United We Work program. Students began the day visiting almost 20 different job sites including the Lubbock Police Department, Ramar Communications, City of Lubbock Animal Control and Whiteside Elementary, job shadowing in different areas of interest. Students completed the day with a work wear fashion show and mock job interviews led by local business leaders.
