Lubbock ISD Career and Technical Education (CTE) students from the Byron Martin Advanced Technology Center (ATC) won first place overall and captured the top three individual awards at the Universal Technical Institute (UTI) Top Tech Automotive Challenge last week. Ryan Garcia (1st), Daniel Rasco (2nd), and Ava Stephnson (3rd) claimed the top three individual awards. As for team awards, Daniel Rasco and Ava Stephenson won first, Ryan Garcia and Brody Boyce earned second, and A.J. Guzman and Dawson Reed finished fourth. These Lubbock ISD students left with over $37,000 in scholarships in addition to $7,000 in new tools. Congratulations to all!
