2021 Lubbock ISD Elementary Teacher of the Year Dan Heberly of Williams Elementary School was recognized by the Lubbock Christian University (LCU) School of Education last Tuesday as one of eight outstanding educators from the Lubbock area. The eight teachers were finalists for the LCU Award for Excellence in Teaching, which is presented annually to remarkable educators in recognition of their diligent efforts in educating tomorrow’s generations. Area school superintendents nominated distinguished educators for their commitment and passion for teaching. Congrats to Mr. Heberly!
