Elementary campuses across Lubbock ISD celebrate College and Career Week. At Carmona-Harrison Elementary School, the Vaqueros kicked the week off with a special recognition. Alex Salazar received $1,000 for her classroom from the Extra Yard for Teachers program. Texas Tech Head Football Coach Joey McGuire and members of the cheer team visited the campus for the presentation.
