Lubbock ISD inspires Therapy Dog program at Andrews ISD
The newest members of Andrews ISD are on four legs. The school district became the first in the Permian Basin to create a Therapy Dog program after witnessing first hand the impact of such a program when Lubbock ISD’s Muttley Crew lent assistance to their community following their tragic bus accident in November last year. Andrews has three certified therapy dogs, one in their high school, one in their middle school, and one servicing the entire district. Thank you to those who provided guidance to Andrews ISD in beginning this program!
