Lubbock ISD HOSA heads to State

Members of Lubbock ISD Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) traveled to El Paso for the area competition. Several of our HOSA members became state qualifiers and one area officer. They will be traveling to Round Rock at the end of March to compete at the state level. HOSA is an international career and technical student organization endorsed by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Technology Education Division of the Association for Career and Technical Education.

  • Jacob Simfukwe - Second place in Medical Terminology; Health Care Issues
  • Ben Castillo - First place in Pathophysiology; Health Care Issues
  • Elizabeth Hughes - Area Officer; Health Care Issues
  • Britney Manna - Health Care Issues
