Student Artwork Featured on First Friday Art Trail

Student artwork celebrating Día de los Muertos will be on display this week at the November First Friday Art Trail.

Wolffarth Elementary School student work will be featured at the Tornado Gallery. La Catrina living mannequins will also be at the event, along with face painting available for attendees.

Hutchinson Middle School visual art students will be at the Texas Tech University International Cultural Center. The results of technical theatre and photography students working together on a Día de los Muertos photoshoot will be on display for participants to enjoy, along with ofrendas created by students in Hutchinson MS Spanish classes. Junior Historians will serve as docents and assist attendees with painting sugar skulls they created for the event.
