Lubbock ISD Students Advance to SkillsUSA Nationals

Four Lubbock ISD students are advancing to the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference in Louisville, KY after competing in the state conference earlier this month.The SkillsUSA Texas Leadership and Skills Conference had just under 8,000 students competing, with 87 Lubbock ISD Career and Technical Education students from all five Lubbock ISD high schools competing in automotive, A/V production, construction, graphic design, animation, information technology, manufacturing, health sciences and law enforcement. These students represented Lubbock ISD well with several medalists and a Best of Show award:

Blue Ribbon in Advertising Design Individual:
