The Academic Decathlon Team had a strong showing at our state meet in San Antonio over the weekend. They placed 10th as a team, growing about 1,000 points from region.

 

Students also earned the following individual medals: 

Varsity Micah Hobein earned 3rd in Art and Literature and 2nd in Social Science

Varsity Obsidian Beavers earned 1st in Social Science

Scholastic Jason Ye earned 2nd in Music

 

All nine students, Annie Luft, JaeAnna Lockeyby-Landers, Bobby Stephens, Jason Ye, Nova Willingham, Elizabeth Smart, Micah Hobein, Obsidian Beavers, and Avi Enriquez have earned scholarships from the state and district for their accomplishments this year.
