Bambi DeLaRosa attended Maedgen Elementary, J.T. Hutchinson Junior High School, and Estacado High School. She graduated from Estacado in 2000 as Salutatorian. DeLaRosa then attended UCLA, majoring in philosophy.
While at Estacado, Bambi served as Student Council Treasurer, was a member of the state qualifying Academic Decathlon Team, and was a part of the Medical Magnet Program. In addition, she danced with a competition dance team at Christmann Academy of Dance and directed the dance program at Parkway Guadalupe Neighborhood Center.
After graduating from high school, Bambi moved to Los Angeles, California to continue her education and pursue opportunities in dance. Ms. DeLaRosa danced in several commercials and music videos, including Backstreet Boys music videos and Target commercials. She graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy (2009) and earned a Master’s degree in Applied Cognition from UT Dallas (2012). Currently, Bambi is pursuing a doctorate at UT Dallas in the Cognition and Neuroscience PhD program. She works at The Center for Brain Health where her research focuses on information processing in the brain and exploiting macroscopic electrical properties of the brain for novel treatment paradigms. Bambi DeLaRosa also dances for the Dallas Cowboys as a member of the Dallas Cowboys' Rhythm & Blues Dancers, the first hip-hop only dance team in the NFL.
