General Information:

• Online Advancement courses are:
  • only available for students who have completed 8th grade and desire to complete high school credits. These are not available for students in middle school or elementary grade levels
  • on-level courses. None of these courses are advanced or dual credit courses, and as a result, students will NOT receive weighted credit when they are completed.
  • generally intended for for students who
    • are seeking to graduate early and wish to accumulate credits in an accelerated manner for that purpose.
    • desire to take more electives or extracurricular activities within their class schedule and therefore wish to free up availability by completing required courses online. 
• Students must consult their counselor before registering for classes to ensure that they are signing up for courses that will meet their desired needs.

Course Fees for Lubbock ISD Online School:

• Lubbock ISD Students -- $50 per semester course

• Lubbock ISD Students on Free/Reduced Lunch Program -- $20 per semester course (must choose "waiver confirmed" on the registration form)

• Out-of-District Students -- $125 per semester course

• Late Registration -- $25 late fee per semester course

Types of Payments Accepted:

Before any payments are made, students MUST complete the online registration process so that their information can be collected before the payment is made. It is the registration form information that MUST be completed during the open registration timeframe - not the payment. 

• Pay Now -- Allows you to make payment by Credit/Debit card -- Must be made online during the registration timeframe

• Pay Later
  • Check made out to Lubbock ISD Online and mailed to the Advanced Academics Office with student name noted on the check - address below
  • ***Due to Social Distancing practices in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic, in-person payments will not be accepted until further notice.  You may pay online using a credit card using the "Pay Now" option during the registration process.  However, if you need to pay by check, please mail payment to the address below.
