The mission of Lubbock ISD school nurses is to nurture, develop and inspire Every Child, Every Day.

School Nurses will:

• Educate students with regard to health-related subjects using age-appropriate methods as well as developmentally appropriate self-management techniques for individual health conditions

• Empower students and their families to make positive health choices by providing proven resources for health information and services

• Expand opportunities for students through advocacy and evidence-based practice

• Enrich the community through the promotion of good health practices and involvement in community health events
