Our Lubbock ISD Foundation for Excellence (FFE) has made such a positive impact on our staff and students this year! 🎈🎉 Last night, we hosted our third annual FFE Grant Celebration in honor of these scholarship and grant recipients, including the deserving students who received the new Doyle Vogler Memorial Scholarships. ✨ Today is World Down Syndrome Day! ✨ Students and staff from Hardwick and Whiteside elementary schools wore their craziest socks to help bring awareness and celebrate some of their classmates! Did you know that people with Down Syndrome have three copies of their 21st chromosome? Socks were chosen because the karyotype of that chromosome actually looks like mismatched socks! #WeAreLubbockISD
