During their visit to Roberts, the Atkins band teachers introduced our 5th graders to the band program and the various musical instruments that they could choose from. The students were excited to learn about it. #WeAreLISD @RobertsRaiders @RoyRobertsPTA
Ms. Zachary's class enjoyed
some sunshine and even reviewed for Reading STAAR by doing a STAAR stem Easter Egg hunt! The kids earned points by answering their egg questions correctly & had a lot of fun showing off their knowledge of sharks. #WeAreLISD @RobertsRaiders @RoyRobertsPTA

We really enjoy learning about friends from all over the world! We would like to extend our gratitude to the Texas Tech Office of International Affairs for educating us about Africa. During the session, we got to learn about the Maasai people of East Africa who reside in the southern region of Kenya. The Maasai culture is quite diverse and features communal living, herding, intricate beading, and hunting traditions. One of the highlights of the session was participating in one of their jumping games. We take pride in being a part of LISD. #WeAreLISD @RobertsRaiders @RoyRobertsPTA

PE is participating in a fundraiser where there is nothing to buy or sell; All we need is gently worn, used, or new sneakers! Students may place the shoes in the sneakers box located by the gym.
