Lubbock ISD, Lubbock National Bank, Aramark, and the South Plains Food Bank are teaming up to serve FREE summer meals to all kids 18 and under! What will the weather be like tonight? Our fifth graders received a first hand look into weather forecasting and what it is like to be a meteorologist. Shania Jackson, from KCBD, gave us a sneak peak of her forecast for the day, explained why we have been in a stormy weather cycle the last week or so, and answered some of our weather related questions. These Raiders had an inside look at how weather is predicted and what it takes to give an on air weather forecast. What a treat!
