NOV. 17 - Substitute Appreciation Day
Thank you to all of our amazing substitute teachers who step in whenever they are needed!
In Ms. Zachary's class, the students divided the process of writing an ECR into smaller parts and used them as stations to respond to a writing prompt about Don Quixote. They showed great effort and enthusiasm in their writing, and it was evident that they were very engaged in the activity. #WeAreLISD @RobertsRaiders @RoyRobertsPTA
During a field trip to the Texas Tech Office of International Affairs, second-grade classes were able to explore various forms of music and dance from around the world. The students were fascinated to learn about the different customs, emotions, and traditions that are celebrated in other countries. #WeAreLISD @RobertsRaiders @RoyRobertsPTA

Bonding With Books and the Lubbock Lake Landmark event is scheduled for Tuesday, November 14th from 3:30-4:15 PM at the Roberts Elementary Library. It is important to note that students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This event will showcase some fascinating bones, educate attendees about archaeology in the Lubbock area, and provide insight into what the Lubbock Lake Landmark site has to offer our community.
