Our 1st graders want to go to the zoo!!! Help them fundraise by purchasing one of these AWESOME Plainsmen throws! Not only will you be helping our precious students, but you'll also be able to snuggle up and keep warm in your favorite colors!
A day or so ago, 5th Grader Samhir's Mom helped him out with his Extension Research Project over Food History stemming from the Ancient Aztec, Inca, and Maya civilization. Mrs. Brown helped Samhir make and share Pozole with our 5th graders (and some very lucky teachers). Thank you to Samhir, Mrs. Brown, and all of our families for supporting our students' learning and helping to make connections to things we know and love in our everyday life!

Once again, Mrs. Dines is using her art classroom to expose our students to incredible cultural experiences! Today, Sakura Noodle and Steak House came to see our 4th graders to demonstrate the art of making ramen! Students will soon utilize clay to create ramen! How amazing is that!? More pics to come!

We are so proud to have many of our students' with artwork displaying at Lubbock ISD Central Office this week! Mrs. Dines does a phenomenal job with our art program!
Today we celebrate our favorite veteran! Mr. Milam served in the US Army as a Military Policeman. We are so grateful for his service and the service of those who have served and those who are currently serving. Tell us in the comments about the veterans you're celebrating today!
