
McCool Academy students started the week off well with impressive presentations, showcasing the hard work and creativity they’ve poured into their projects all year long. They aimed to impress with their advanced final ceramic and weaving projects which showed off their own individual creativity and technique. They also took on Project Lead the Way which challenged their problem-solving, collaboration, and creative design skills they’ve mastered throughout the unit. From measuring and mixing to layering and laughing, Lubbock High's culinary students mentored their younger chefs from Ramirez Elementary in a sweet collaboration. If a school bond is approved by voters, school districts are required to:
✔ Use bond funds only for the purposes outlined in the proposal
✔ Track and report spending for transparency and accountability
✔ Phase in projects based on planning, timelines, and construction schedules
💡 Lubbock ISD’s 2018 bond projects were completed in August 2023, on time and as promised.
