The Grinch, last seen trying to hide behind a stack of textbooks, is now in custody, facing charges of attempted holiday theft. Students from Estacado HS paid a visit to the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center’s F. Marie Hall SimLife Center as part of “Docs for a Day,” an outreach activity conducted by the TTUHSC Student National Medical Association (SNMA). This simulation allowed students to learn about skills and components used in an emergency room. The SNMA works with schools and the community to provide a positive experience and get students interested in the medical profession. Since 2013, more than 10,000 coats have been donated to students across the district as part of this Operation Warm program.
