Happy National STEM/STEAM Day!
We love when lessons focus on hands-on learning and bridge between different skills and disciplines. STEAM-related activities allow our students to learn about any subject matter while involving topics of science, technology, engineering, art, and math.

October is National Book Month! One way we celebrate books and reading is by connecting high school students with their feeder pattern elementary schools to read together. ๐๐ค๐
This morning, Chick-fil-A Leadership students from Monterey High School visited Miller Elementary for a special trip to promote literacy by reading books that encourage kindness, strength, and gratitude. Once all books were read, every second grader and pre-k student received copies of the books plus an encouraging note written by an MHS student!
