Amarachi Uche-Eboh was crowned state champion in the Animal Systems category (and is a national finalist) and Penelope Jetter was named state champion runner-up in the Food Products and Processing Systems category. 🎶Rave on, it’s a crazy feeling! 🎸Roscoe Wilson ES and Honey ES learned about local hero and musical artist Buddy Holly on the eve of his birthday. Students celebrated Holly’s birthday by listening to some of his top songs, dressing up in ‘50s theme outfits, taking a blast to the past with some old school cars, and cooling off with some ice cream to finish the day. Students at Mackenzie Middle School participated in mock interviews today to better prepare them for the future! Mrs. Miller's Family and Consumer Science class invited local professionals to interview students and better prepare them by building confidence and practical skills in a supportive environment.
