What will the weather be like tonight? Our fifth graders received a first hand look into weather forecasting and what it is like to be a meteorologist. Shania Jackson, from KCBD, gave us a sneak peak of her forecast for the day, explained why we have been in a stormy weather cycle the last week or so, and answered some of our weather related questions. These Raiders had an inside look at how weather is predicted and what it takes to give an on air weather forecast. What a treat! Roberts Elementary is so extremely thankful for the kindness and support of Complex Community Federal Credit Union. Mr. James, Mr. Shawn, Mr. Andrew, and Mrs. Laurena plus other CCFCU staff have lifted up our Roberts staff and students all year long with their generosity.
Our preK and kindergarten students enjoyed a fun read aloud today. These students also get to take a copy of Pete the Cat and the Cool Caterpillar home to add to their home libraries. What a TREAT!
