Roberts Elementary thanks the Lubbock Fire Department for supporting our community and educating our students. The kindergartners had a visit from the firefighters and engine 14. The second graders were treated to a performance about fire safety. They learned about the importance of smoke detectors, having a meeting place outside the home, and how to get out safely in case of a fire. #WeAreLISD @RobertsRaiders @RoyRobertsPTA

Thank you to the Lubbock Public Library and Brenna Jaco for visiting us at Bonding with Books this week. The students loved the storytime and spinning the prize wheel.
Students and parents learned that the Lubbock Public Library's Mahon branch has a pet tortoise named Tortellini. Also, did you know that you can check out cake pans, movies, and TV series from the Lubbock Public Library? Roberts had six students compete in Saturday's, Oct 12th, cross country meet with 216 participants. Scarlett finished in the top 10 for girls. All of our runners did a fantastic job representing our school.
