Our 2nd grade Raiders at Roberts Elementary had an amazing time learning about Asia and Lunar New Year! 🌏✨ A huge thank you to the Texas Tech International Cultural Center for sharing such a fun and meaningful presentation with our students.
Raiders got creative by designing their own dragon masks 🐲🎭 and brought the celebration to life by participating in a lively Dragon Dance! 💃🕺 What a wonderful way to explore culture, traditions, and global learning right here at Roberts! ❤️

After learning all about royal families, kings, and queens, students celebrated with a fabulous royal dance and feast during their Valentine’s Party last week! 💃🕺🍓🧁
Dressed in their finest royal attire, our little nobles danced, dined, and celebrated like true royalty. What a magical way to bring learning to life! 📚✨

Mrs. Briseño shared why reading comprehension is so important and talked about the exciting transition students make from 2nd to 3rd grade. Parents and students worked together on a 2nd grade reading passage and comprehension questions, then got a sneak peek at a 3rd grade passage to see what’s coming next.
