Our kindergarten mathematicians have been hard at work! 🌟 Using dominos and connecting cubes, they practiced recognizing dot patterns, counting, matching, and building numbers. Activities like this help students strengthen important skills such as following directions, number recognition, and one-to-one counting. Way to go, math superstars! 🎲🔢👏

Thank you to the Buddy Holly Museum and Ms. Tanis Blount for presenting to our 3rd Graders! Students learned about Buddy Holly and his importance to Lubbock and the music industry. Then, they were able to create their own Buddy Holly glasses. #WeAreLISD @RoyRoberts @RoyRobertsPTA

Roberts Raiders have been working on steady beat and rhythms in music with Ms. Franks. The first graders practiced steady beat with “Bee Bee Bumble Bee”, and 4th grade practiced rhythms with simple instruments. Way to go Raiders!

Pre-K students and parents participated in our first Lunch and Learn event for the school year. Parents and students ate lunch together while learning about the importance of reading stories together.
Reading with your child helps build their focus and concentration, develop vocabulary, and early literacy skills. By listening to stories with family members, children develop a stronger sense of empathy, memory, and imagination.
Our youngest Roberts Raiders are building a lifelong love of learning and reading!

This week's Bonding with Books was a Magically Great Time! Thank you Pretty Darn Amazing Productions and Mr. Rick De Lung for putting on such an awesome book themed magic show and even pulling a rabbit out of the library for us to pet! All the families that attended had a great time!
Our next Bonding with Books will be a Carnival Theme including games and prizes - Tuesday, September 23rd, 2025...more information to come.
