Nominating outstanding teachers for Teachers On The Rise is a fun and easy way for to show teachers the positive impression they've made on their students throughout the year. Students need to be as detailed as possible and tell us how their favorite teacher goes above and beyond! Our entry site, www.MrsBTeacher.com, will remain open throughout the school year. There is no time like the present to submit nominations, so please encourage students and families to get their nomination in as soon as possible.

And we are off! Our first three days of Pennies for Patients were a hit! I loved hearing the clinking of all the coins! Our wildcats have been so generous and so excited about serving our community with this project. All money raised stays right here on the South Plains to help UMC hospital provide care for all our children! Thank you wildcats! We have one more week! Which grade level will win the pizza party?

Pennies for Patients allows our students to serve children of the South Plains! Bring in all that extra change to donate to the Children's' Miracle Network and UMC hospital. Buckets will set out by classrooms. This week: Grade level that raises most money wins a pizza party!

We hope our Lubbock ISD family is staying safe and warm on this snowy Sunday! This is a friendly reminder about how we communicate weather delays or cancellations. We share information by using: 1. Our social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, and X). 2. Our website (www.LubbockISD.org). 3. Our district notification system (phone call, text message, email, and app push notification). 4. Our district television station (Lubbock ISD-TV). 5. Our local media outlets You can find more information about how we make these decisions and when we communicate about them at our weather information page at www.LubbockISD.org/weather.
