Braunshea Norris

Mr. Braunshea Norris is an East Lubbock resident. Mr. Norris was brought up in this very feeder pattern. He graduated from Estacado on May 28th, 2005. He received his bachelor's degree in vocal music from Wayland Baptist University in 2015. Mr. Norris has been teaching choir for 6 years now. During his downtime, he is a single parent and worship leader for a local church here in Lubbock, Texas. He enjoys video games and watching anime. 

The DCPA choral program has made many changes. This year a lone the choral department accomplished the following:

32 division one solos that received gold metals at UIL solo and ensemble.

First ever male tenor/bass choir from DCPA to represented at UIL Concert and Sight-reading Evaluation.  

The first time that both Treble and Tenor/Bass choir at UIL Concert and Sight-reading Evaluation.

Treble Choir received division one ratings on their concert portion of UIL Concert and Sight- reading evaluation. 

Tenor/ Bass male chorus received excellent ratings in their Concert portion and in Sight-reading. 

We strive for greatness in all areas of the choral experience. Here in the DCAP choral program, we share our gifts in talents with the world. Our Motto is that “if we can change the life of just one person through our music then we have done our jobs as functioning musicians”.
