Huge shoutout to Ms. Prenot and Ms. Levering for creating School Wide Learning Outcome Lessons for Networking! Astronauts have had so much fun with their projects and we are so glad that we could end it with McCool Olympics and a cup stacking challenge!
Our Spanish speaking astronauts were able to present their projects on their family tree utilizing vocabulary in Spanish, as well as references to culture!
McCool Academy Astronauts were assigned the task to design an astronaut patch that represented our school and the impact that Shuttle Columbia had on our lives. Before designing the patch, our astronauts learned about Shuttle Columbia and Commander William C. McCool through a video and class discussion. Each learner had to answer the following questions: " How did the Astronauts on Shuttle Columbia impact the world forever? How did they impact you as a person? If you could tell the astronauts one thing, what would you tell them?"

We want to remind all of our McCool Academy families that we will be hosting our awards ceremonies tomorrow in the McCool Academy auditorium. 8th grade will get us going at 8:30 AM. 6th grade will get started at 12:30 PM while our 7th grade will wrap up the day at 2:30 PM.
Along with this being our award ceremonies, it is also our final presentation dress day of the year. To receive their awards tomorrow, Astronauts must be in their presentation dress. No crocs or slides will be allowed.
