National Physical Fitness and Sports Month is a time to highlight the importance of staying active through sports and other fitness activities.
Today, our administrators' networking class transplanted their vegetables to the courtyard! These learners started their vegetables from seed, with the hopes of donating food in the future! 🥕🍅🥦
Mrs. Lara and Mrs. Deshazo are continuing to read Summer of the Mariposas as part of their project. For this chapter, our facilitators provided their learners some sweet bread (pan dulce) like the characters eat in the story. The moment it is revealed that the main characters have been put to sleep by a sorceresses pan dulce, our learners made a connection and realized they were tricked by their facilitators! #McCoolAcademy #AboveandBeyond

Our beginner Mariachi Armonia students are working collaboratively to create beautiful chords with a soundtrack. They have shown so much growth from the beginning of the year when they first picked up their instruments!
Learners are working on their PBL project which relates to how graphic design plays an important role in website development. Learners were working on creating their vision boards. While doing so, Mrs. Cozart was able to provide individualized feedback and differentiation to all of her learners!
