
Welcome to Lubbock ISD
The Lubbock Independent School District was established in 1907 with the passage of HB 591 in the 30th Texas Legislature. Accredited by the Texas Education Agency, it is the largest school district that serves the city of Lubbock, Texas. Lubbock ISD covers 85.5 square miles and contains a little more than 800 acres of school properties owned by local taxpayers.
