📚 Tomorrow is the day, Cavaliers! 📚

Tomorrow, our students will take their first Reading District Assessment of the year! This is an opportunity for our students to show what they know and how much they’ve already learned. 💙

To provide the best possible testing environment, Cavazos will be a closed campus during testing.

📵 No phones are permitted during testing.
🍔 No outside food deliveries will be accepted.
⏰ Most importantly—please make sure your student is at school and on time!

A good night’s rest, a great breakfast, and being present and ready to do their best can make a big difference.

We are ready to see our Cavaliers show what they know! 💪📖

Strong connections help our students thrive!

Last month we introduced Frankly, a free resource packed with simple, practical ideas to build stronger connections at home and across our school community.

Teachers are already using these strategies in the classroom, and we want every Lubbock ISD family involved. Research shows that strong family and school connections play a vital role in helping students feel supported, engaged and ready to succeed.
