Our 3rd annual trip to Texas Tech University to wrap up our mentoring program was a success! This year, students had the opportunity to participate in a scavenger hunt around campus, making the experience even more engaging and fun.

🎶 Congratulations to our Cavazos students for earning Excellent (II) ratings at the Irons Festival today and bringing home a trophy! 🏆
This marks the first time in four years that Cavazos has participated in this festival, making this accomplishment even more special. Today was the strongest performance this group of students has delivered at this point in the year, and we know they are incredibly proud of the hard work, dedication, and preparation they put into this performance.
We also invite our Cavazos families and community to join us for our Spring Concert on Tuesday at 5:15 PM in the auditorium. Our students will perform their festival music one more time along with a special finale piece to close out the evening. We hope to see you there as we celebrate their success and talent! 🎼

Partnering with families to support positive student behavior, regular attendance, and strong learning habits—especially daily reading at home and monitoring student grades - are just a few ways we can ensure success for all Lubbock ISD students.
