🌟 This summer, Cavazos Middle School will be hosting our Cavazos Leadership Academy — an opportunity for students to continue growing academically, socially, and as leaders within our community!
Students will participate in:
📚 Instructional support in Reading & Math (5th/6th/7th Grade)
🧪 Reading, Math, Science & Social Studies instruction (8th Grade)
🔬 Engaging STEM activities
💙 Social-emotional learning opportunities
🤝 Community service projects and leadership development
🎉 PLUS — we will be doing weekly giveaways throughout the academy, and all participating students will be entered into our end-of-academy drawing for a pair of AirPods!

🎶 Congratulations to our Cavazos students for earning Excellent (II) ratings at the Irons Festival today and bringing home a trophy! 🏆
This marks the first time in four years that Cavazos has participated in this festival, making this accomplishment even more special. Today was the strongest performance this group of students has delivered at this point in the year, and we know they are incredibly proud of the hard work, dedication, and preparation they put into this performance.
We also invite our Cavazos families and community to join us for our Spring Concert on Tuesday at 5:15 PM in the auditorium. Our students will perform their festival music one more time along with a special finale piece to close out the evening. We hope to see you there as we celebrate their success and talent! 🎼
