Parents,
The Estacado Band staff and Dunbar administration are working on a plan to add 8th grade students to the Estacado Matador Marching Band for the 25-26 football and marching season. Starting next week, we ask that any 8th graders who wish to learn percussion and be a part of the EHS Drumline and Front Ensemble join us for Percussion camp July 21st-25th from 10am-3pm. The following week, we will have full band camp and would like all 8th graders in band to join us pending updated physicals.

Dunbar,
The Summer School notification is for the 24/25 school year 8th graders only. If you received the message and do not have an 8th grader that will be going to High School next school year please disregard.
So sorry for any confusion.

Good morning parents.
This year, 8th graders who do not pass one or more subjects of the recent STAAR test will be invited to attend summer school at their feeder (projected) high school Tuesday, June 3rd-June 19th from 8:00-12:00 Mondays-Thursdays.
While the district won’t receive students’ STAAR scores until May 30th, we want to make you aware of this possibility now to assist in your summer planning. Students who attend will receive Accelerated Instruction in their area of need. Bus transportation will be provided from each middle school to the feeder high school and students will receive both breakfast and lunch. We will send you notification through the mail for those that need to attend.
