Jr Visual Art Scholastic Event occurred this past Saturday at Coronado High School. There were 140 entries from across the region. Each of the 10 Talkington students who participated received top ratings, earning a medal for their interview about their Art process and product. Congratulations! These girls have every reason to be proud of themselves!

SUMMER 2024 WARRIOR ATHLETICS SCHEDULE
-High School Volleyball practice starts August 5th first games are 10th and 12th. Please plan ahead so that you don’t miss tryouts and games.
-Middle School Volleyball will start on the second day of school.
-High School Conditioning and weightlifting/ Sports specific Training
8:00-10:00 am July 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 29th, 30th, 31st
Conditioning/Weightlifting - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Basketball - Mondays and Wednesdays
Volleyball- Tuesdays and Thursdays

All students will need a new physical for 2024-25 school year. Physicals can be done here at Talkington on May 8th for $25.00.
-Please be prepared for no access to locker rooms, so come ready to go with a 1 gallon jug of water for your own use, as no sharing of water will be allowed, and outside & inside shoes.
-All students participating in summer activities will need to join the Team App! Our Team Name is Lady Warriors -TSYWL.

Congratulations to Pema Dickson for her performance this weekend at the State Championships for gymnastics, where she won State Champion--1st overall. She will compete again at the regional meet in two weeks here in Lubbock! Way to go!

Talkington ladies competed in the City Championships held at the Pete Ragus Aquatic Center last Saturday. We had a lot of fast swims and season best times throughout the meet. Here are the final results for individual events:
