High school and middle school Student Council leaders teamed up to host the Fifth Grade Leadership Workshop today. Students from across the Lubbock area attended to gain insight into what it means to be a leader and to learn more about Talkington with fun games, important lessons, and a tour. Thank you, StuCo, for putting on this amazing event, and thank you to all who attended. We loved meeting future Warriors!

Happy New Year, Warriors! We loved the way we ended fall 2025 with this amazing Academic Enrichment Day! From service learning to future planning, goal setting and craft making, AE Day had it all!

Our FFA members are collecting old blue jeans or denim products to benefit our local farm bureau. The denim can be ripped/torn/stained--it doesn't matter! If you need some extra room in your closet or dresser before the holidays, feel free to drop off any old jeans in room 109 between now and Friday.

All 5th grade girls interested in learning more about leadership and Talkington are invited to the third annual 5th Grade Leadership Workshop hosted by our amazing Student Council! The event will take place on January 5 from 9:00am-12:00pm. The cost is $2.

Orders are due by Monday, December 15th at 4:00pm

All Warriors are invited to attend the FREE Holiday Movie Night on Monday, December 15. Be sure to bring your money to purchase snacks. All snack sales benefit our amazing Talkington student organizations, so please help them fundraise.

The event will start after school and last until 6:00 pm. Student pick up will be in front of the school in the circle drive after the event.

On Tuesday, our awesome middle schoolers and two incredible high schoolers took the buddy Holly Hall stage at LISD's Theatre Alive. They did a great job and got to show off their fabulous acting and prop-making skills.
