📣 8th Graders and Families: Mark Your Calendars! Get ready for this year’s 8th Grade Open House at Lubbock High! It’s the perfect way to explore our specialty transfer programs, like International Baccalaureate, Navy Junior ROTC, Ballet Folklorico, and Mariachi, plus a lineup of other fantastic courses and clubs, including AP Capstone, Robotics, Orchestra, Band, Choir, Dance, ALL THE SPORTS, and more clubs than you can count. 🗓️ Date: Tuesday, November 19, 2024 📍 Location: LHS Auditorium 🕕 Time: 6 PM Come see what makes Westerner Nation the place to be!

We had an awesome time at Commander William C. McCool Academy today! Huge shoutout to our Mock Trial group and the LHS Gold Dust Pom Squad for representing Lubbock High with pride. Thank you to the Astronauts for having us, our students had a blast sharing their talents and connecting with future Westerners!

PTSA General Meeting! Monday, October 21st @ 6:50 p.m. in the LHS Auditorium before the Choir Concert!

PSAT is right around the corner, Westerners! On October 22nd, all 9th and 10th grade students will take the PSAT, as well as any Juniors who registered. Students will arrive at the normal 8:15 start time. Non-testing students who show up early may report to the cafeteria. Be sure to get plenty of rest, bring your fully charged Chromebook, and come prepared. Students are encouraged to bring their own calculator although it is not required. For seniors and juniors not taking the PSAT, the school day will begin at 12:00 for periods 5-8, with lunch at the normal time. Let's make it a great day!
