A note from Mrs. Martinez:
I’m beyond excited and truly honored to have the opportunity to lead the Lady Westerners Soccer Program next year!
I grew up right here in Lubbock, and soccer has always been a huge part of my life. Unfortunately, my high school didn’t offer soccer, so I had to step away from the game—but I couldn’t stay away for long. I picked it back up after graduation, and my passion for the sport has only grown since then.
Soccer has come such a long way here in Lubbock, and it’s been amazing to see the growth of the game in our community. I’m excited to be part of this new era and hope to continue helping the sport grow even more—starting right here at Lubbock High.
Over the past year, I’ve had the chance to coach both volleyball and soccer here at Lubbock High, and I’ve loved every minute of it. I also teach U.S. and World History, and I’m incredibly grateful for all the opportunities I’ve been given at LHS.
This team already means so much to me, and I can’t wait to keep building on the hard work, heart, and pride that these student-athletes bring every day. I’m ready to grow this program, compete with purpose, and represent LHS with everything we’ve got.

Congratulations Mrs. Martinez!
