The Texas Education Agency has released the 2023 accountability ratings, and Lubbock High earned a B+ rating with 6 distinctions! We’re proud to see that effort recognized and excited to keep moving forward. Thank you to our students, teachers, and staff for the energy and dedication you bring every day. Let’s go, Westerners!

Over the weekend LHS Academic UIL teams competed at Regionals at Texas Tech and they made it count! 🥇 1st in Science (the only West Texas 1st place at Regionals!) 🥈 2nd in Number Sense 🥉 3rd in Mathematics Big congratulations to the whole team for representing Lubbock High with pride and to the students advancing to State on May 19–20. Way to go, Westerners!

Lubbock High Gymnastics Shines at Regionals! - Will Brackeen had an outstanding performance, taking 1st place in All-Around, Parallel Bars, Pommel Horse, and Vault. - He also claimed 2nd place in Floor, Rings, and High Bar. - Will’s compulsory meet scores were the highest in the state this year!
